Brief

One of the largest online stores, Olive tree boasts of having multi-level large number of products in the Gourmet category. The client brief was very simple "No fancy designs just keep it very rich and simple. My users should be able to find what they want in ONE CLICK"

The Solution

To convert their brief into reality we at dimakh consultants tackled first the major issue of navigation usability. With so many products and major food groups it was very difficult to club them into actual user experience map. We grouped them as major family group products and offered drop down list that works seamlessly on mobile as well. No color or flashy design elements we kept the homepage easy on the eye yet attractive enough to make a choice.

The DotNet online shopping module was modified to make more responsive and quickly move to the actual payment module. The detailed product page outlined how much information was required but ensured that all cross links and buy action item was readily available. The Shopping cart module also was made user friendly and clicks were minimized by using the tab design or the show hide design compose. The user is able to have a quick view of his/her shop cart by just a mouse-over.
